Bought this radio after using XM services for years in my cars. First of all the detachable tuner sucksreception drops constantly, even when the attena is facing South as directed. I used the Boom Box on occasion and recently went to use it but the power was dead completely. It didn't matter if I plugged it in or used batteries, dead.
I tried to contact the seller but after 3 weeks gave up on hope of a response.
I now have a $110 paper weight.
The Sirius Boom Box is just that a Boom, the sound is fantastic, with great acoustical qualities. You have got to hear this thing if you enjoy Sirius Radio, if you listen to it I am sure you will buy it. I would put the sound quality comperable to any of those much more expensive sound machines.

With the way the product title is listed, you'd think you were getting the radio along with the boom box, but you don't. The radio is bought separately, so be careful if you buy this product.

I love this radio, I use it outside near my work shed and it puts out as much sound as a 500 watt stereo it seems, sound travels very well with this stereo and
The bass seems very well tuned. I have to admit, I have forgotten this stereo outside during some extreme rain storms and it hasn't even hurt this stereo.
I have owned this radio for several months now, and haven't had any trouble with it. Recommended 100%!

Used mine for about 4 months before i decided not to pay for Sirius anymore.. Great box, awesome sound for such a small size.
