High Grade Amazon Kindle Fire 7" HD Tablet Robust 360° Adjustable Car Windshield Swivel Suction Mo

High Grade Amazon Kindle Fire 7' HD Tablet Robust 360° Adjustable Car Windshield Swivel Suction Mount w/ Low Profile Car Kit Holder'This is a great product! I am using it on my exercise bike. I use the suction cup on the device to attach it to a piece of heavy Plexiglas that I affixed to the bike timer and then I can watch movies on my Kindle Fire while I exercise. I also bought one to use in the kitchen for our granite island counter. The kit comes with a disk which has adhesive on one side to attach semi-permanently to a car dashboard then you can mount the cradle's suction cup to the semi-permanent disk. So far, the suction cup alone has work great for me. I also can take the cradle and use it to hold my Kindle Fire for presentations. I mount the cradle to a conference room table and am good to go. The adjustments are plastic and have limits, but none that bothered me yet. Well worth the money.

I use this gaget with my Kindle, at the gym rather than in the car, with a clear plexiglass bookstand, to make seeing the Kindle easier. I often watch uTube tutorial while on the walking machine,

This was exactly what was looking for, when I decided to fabricate a "Kindle Fire," holder in order to read hands free, (in bed). With a touch screen probe on a short stick, it is the height of comfort, and my arm doesn't get tired holding the Kindle. The construction of the frame to attach it to, has been an interesting exercise.

This is solid. The suction cup works great. I actually use this to mount the Kindle Fire to my Treadmill...

Want High Grade Amazon Kindle Fire 7" HD Tablet Robust 360° Adjustable Car Windshield Swivel Suction Mo Discount?

I bought this to use at the gym at my job which is very no frills...limited machines and no classes of any kind...but plenty of mirrors. I figured I'd suction the Kindle Fire 7 HD to the mirror and do some aerobics.

Well, I suctioned it onto the sliding glass mirrors in my dining room and to my surprise this thing stuck like crazy glue.

I pulled on it as well, trying to get it to come off and nothing! That thing was on pretty good. I will update later if for some reason it stop working...

But, I would suggest using an alcohol pad to whipe the area clean FIRST, then using a dry napkin to whipe it clean. Then use the suction cup. It works fantastic on a clean glass surface.

Stanley J509 500 Amp Jump Starter

Stanley J509 500 Amp Jump StarterThis review is based on ~8 months of use. Purchase price was $70.

This starter pack is useful if you have a car that sits a lot, and you cannot use a float/trickle charger (like at an apartment). I telecommute most of the time, so my car battery does not get charged much by the alternator. I noticed that the battery in my car was no longer zippy (starts up fast when the battery is good), so I bought this starter pack to supplement the car battery. I would use it multiple times before I recharged the pack. The car battery eventually became severely damaged (interior lights were completely dead) due to lack of use/charge and this pack started the car up on the first try so I could get to Sears.

Stanley recommends that this pack be charged every month, regardless if it is used or not. After the purchase of a new car battery, the jump pack sat in my car for a while, but still held a charge. It was able to start the car of a stranded motorist after not being charged for weeks.

Note that this starter pack cannot run a tire pump from the cigarette lighter outlet as the amp draw is limited to .5amp. Get a different unit if you plan on using it for this purpose. The LED light is quite dim, but better than nothing when you are on the side of the road without a flashlight.

Buy a short extension cord to charge this jump starter, as it does not come with one.

I am rating this unit at three as I am not sure yet if it is defective, or just not very worthwhile. I bought it about a month ago, and charged it fully as was recommended in the directions. A week later, I had the "opportunity" to use it and it failed to jump start my neighbors riding lawn mower. The battery on the unit did not did not hold a charge. I put a charge on it again, and will see if it holds this time. I should think a week between charging and using should not render the battery so weak as to not start a little lawn mower!

I recently purchased the Stanley Jump Start for myself, and what a great item this is. Totally portable, charges off a common extension cord into your own outlet(s). Not too heavy, many features like a light attachment, a USB port, neatly accomodates the cables. Well worth the price, and I found out about it from my AAA service for dead car batteries. I love it when people share great buys.

Charged it when I received it per instructions. Then when I went to use it... nothing. I tried the battery test and it showed no charge. Got a refund. Also, cables are so short you have to set it somewhere in the engine compartment.

This worked just fine in getting my car with a totally dead battery started. Had to get the jump starter charged overnight first.

Sirius S50 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Pack

Sirius S50 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Pack
  • Portable Sirius satellite radio receiver with belt clip, ear buds, and car kit
  • 1 GB flash memory saves up to 50 hours of Sirius programming or other digital content
  • Supports MP3 and WMA files; built-in FM transmitter for plug-and-play use in car
  • Voice-assisted channel navigation announces the channel; USB interface for PC transfers
  • 176 x 220 TFT color display; measures 1.9 x 3.8 x 0.67 inches (W x H x D); 1-year warranty

I've waited for three months for the S50 to come out. I finally found one and had it installed professionally in my car. I love what the S50 can do, and I'm overall very pleased, but I have some problems with the S50. First the good stuff. It's a great design with an awesome LCD display. The station, artist and song are always visible. None of the scrolling stuff. The base has a rotating know to change channels, replay songs, press to record a song you like while it's playing and a host of other options. Very cool. The removable lightweight unit is about the size of 2/3 of a deck of playing cards. With this unit, you can remove it from your car, plug in the headphones and play your downloaded MP3's and recorded content from sirius. The rechargeable battery is supposed to last around six hours. I haven't drained it yet. It recharges automatically when plugged into the base unit. Additionally, it will automatically download music from your three most listened to stations...ingenius. Also, if you like a song you're listening to, you simply press the rotating knob, and the song is recorded for you onto the portable unit...awesome! Additionally, if you like a song you just heard, you can click the knob, and it plays again. You can then skip ahead to the current song playing or keep listening. You can also pause the broadcast and unpause without a hitch. As you turn the knob to change channels, a voice tells you what channel you're selecting which is a cool feature if you want to keep watching the road.

I love the selection of music that is available for my taste (alternative stuff). Some stations are lame, the all Elvis channel or all Bruce Springstine channel for example, but that's a matter of taste. Besides, there's plenty to choose from no matter what your taste in music.

And now, the bad stuff. 1) I was disappointed with the sound quality. I would describe the quality as somewhere between good FM radio and AM. Voices often sound like they're speaking or singing through a tin can. I thought it may have been the FM broadcaster in the unit, but when I play MP3's in the car through the unit, they sound great, so I guess it's not enough band width in the broadcasts. 2) The portable unit does not have an equalizer option. You can't adjust the bass or treble which even the cheapest MP3 players have. That was poor oversight on their part. 3) My biggest gripe is that the removable unit will sometimes vibrate loose, causing a loss in the transmission. This is very annoying, but I'm getting used to tapping my unit from time to time to prevent it. I think part of the problem there is that my unit was installed so that it lies in a flat position. I may have to get that changed, despite the fact that I love the way it's positioned right now. Sirius should have designed it so that the unit locks in. However, when you lose the signal (not from the unit vibrating loose), the voice asks if you'd like to switch to downloaded content which can be done very easily.

UPDATE: I had the unit re-installed so that it's not flat, no problem now with the unit slipping out.

Moreover, I'm very pleased with the S50. If you're aware of sound quality issue I'd definitely recommend the unit.

Buy Sirius S50 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Pack Now

First off, let me say that I view the current S50 as a prototype. I think they rushed to market in order to have the product available by the time Stern started broadcasting. The fact that none of the accesories (including the home dock) are available yet shows that this product was rushed. The bugs and missing features, too, indicate a rushed release. Wait a few months and you will probably see prices drop, reliability increase, and features added.

Missing features: (1) There are no audio settings (not even the omnipresent "bass boost"). It should be against the law at this point to release a product like this without at least some sort of rudimentary equalizer. I have found the sound to be very poor largely because of this. The bass is lacking and the highs sound tinny. (2) If you are listening to one of your automatically recorded favorite channels in playback mode and leave the playback and return, you do not return to the point where you left (even if you don't turn the player off). You must start at the beginning of the recording and cycle through the tracks to find your spot. Remember those old CD players that started at the beginning of the disk each time you turned the player on? Would you buy one today? (3) Can I get a small keypad on the dock so I can change channel without using the dial? Come on, Sirius has almost 200 channels. I'm supposed to scroll through them one at a time? True, the remote has a keypad, but I will lose that thing. (4) Unlike your Tivo or DVR (which this unit is constantly compared to), the unit has only one tuner. That means that you can not listen to live radio while recording another channel. Why would you need to record a show that you listened to live? (5) Also unlike Tivo and DVR, the unit will not turn itself on for a scheduled recording. That means, if you want to record Howard Stern in the morning while you are still asleep, you'll have to leave the unit on all night. If you were able to track down a home unit during the limited release in December or you have purchased a DC/AC adaptor, you can just leave your S50 on at home. If you only use yours in the car you will find your battery dead and will be calling AAA for a jump start if you leave this thing on all night.

Design flaws: (1) The designers thought it would be cool to have the top of the player shaped like a triangle instead of sitting flush like every other MP3 player. Thats no problem if you only want to listen with the provided headphones (which suck), but if you want to use aftermarket headphones, the 1/8 jack for many will be to big to fit (the housing of the jack, not the jack itself of course). (2) The unit frequently freezes up and fails to respond to any commands. You have to remove the battery and wait ten seconds before reinstalling it in order to "reset" the unit. (3) Six hours of battery life? Thats at the low end of what I would consider exceptable. That is not a huge problem now, but what about a year from now when the battery begins to lose its charge and only holds, say four hours? (4) The interface is anything but intuitive and needs some major tuning. Example: the "Shut off Device" option is in the Setup Menu. Every time I turn this thing off I feel like I'm about to make a major change in the way the device functions. (5) Unlike most players, which have a full-time display, the screen on this unit goes black unless you have recently touched a button. I don't need the screen to glow all the time, I just want the text of the song on the screen so I know what I'm listening to. Only the backlight should shut off when the unit is "idle." You can go into "display settings" and change the screen to always be on, but since the backlight will always be on, this will drain the already inadequate battery.

I could go on, but I want to wrap this up. I give this product three stars instead of two or one because it is such a great idea. Finally, we can save large amounts of satellite radio content and play it back on a portable. Also, if you want to listen to Stern, but don't have the time to catch the show live, this is the only thing to buy.

Would I buy it again? No, not even at a lower price. My advice is wait and see what comes next. This is a new idea, using new technology. Things will only get better from here on. Wait a few months rather than blowing $350 on a prototype that never should have left the Quality Control Department in its current condition.

Update: Sirius issued a software patch for this unit. Now you can fast-forward through recorded material (before you could only skip tracks), schedule recordings for music shows in addition to talk shows, and save more individual songs to your "my sirius songs" folder.

My advice stays the same. Wait for the next generation S50. It will undoubtedly have two tuners, an equalizer, better sound, and will lack the bugs in this unit. Or, you can buy my S50 used on Amazon.com the day the next generation comes out(I will definitely be upgrading).

Second Update: Today is 2/9/06. My S50 is dead. All of the sudden it stopped receiving live broadcasts today. I turn it on while docked and all I get is the startup sound and the Sirius logo screen; then the unit freezes up. Now this thing is basically an Ipod with bad battery life and poor navigation. Luckily I have an extended warranty...

I bought this primarily for the Tivo-like recording feature and that's a huge disappointment. If you want to record a full Howard Stern show, forget it. It's not designed to record that many hours and it rarely records the full amount it's supposed to. Show are almost always incomplete or the device frequently crashes! I've had to remove the battery multiple times because it was frozen.

If you're a Mac user, there's no software interface fo the MP3 functions.

The sound quality is pretty mediocre, even with full signal strength.

Given the cost (don't forget to add $100 to be able to use it at home) and the mediocre performance, don't buy this.

Want Sirius S50 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Pack Discount?

Anyone giving this product less than 4 stars is Ignorant and/or bitter, because they spent over 300 bucks on something they didn't research or don't know how to use. NO it does not get live broadcast without being docked (either in your car or in your home) But it doesn't claim to!, and NO you can not set up a recording segment (longer than simply recording one song) for any of the music stations(but this isn't nearly as important as i originally thought it would be)

Let me tell you what it can do. I've had mine for a little over a day now so I'm not an expert YET but i have gotten pretty familiar with the product. The most important/impressive thing that this product does (which has been overlooked by or atleast not explained clearly by anyone YET) is the "MY sirius Channels" function. Your S50 will "automatically" ( I left my unit on and docked while I went to sleep) record content from your most listened to channels...which in my case was the channel that i left it on while i was sleeping. when i checked my s50 in the morning i had 5+ hours of Quasi recorded content "saved" under "my sirius channels" I sorted through the saved content which coulden't be more convieniet ( you can FF RW Pause and if you like/choose Record and the greatest part is you don't even have to listen to the full song to record it you can simply hit the "love" button to record, then hit the ff button once and you are skipped ahead to the next song, and yes the one you recorded is saved in your memory. Using this technique I was able to save 68 songs worth of material in about an hour or so (that represents about 20% of the memory for the unit. Tonight I'll let the S50 "automatically" record more music for me and then tomorrow i'll record and save only what i want and delete the rest, which will make room for the S50 to "automatically" record some new content for me to browse through.

Everything else about what this product can do is explained pretty well in the product specs or at I wanted to explain about the recording function b/c this is what seperates this product from other music players. As far as docking your S50 with your computer and using the software goes, it's pretty simple and easy to work with. However if you are used to using Itunes you will realize that "my sirius studio" (the media player used to store and manage your music files on your pc) is incredibly basic but so far has worked w/o problems...(I was also able to transfer MP3's to my S50 via this software.

I won't say much about the looks b/c by now you've seen pics...i'll only say that those pictures are surely justified.

Yeah it's a lot of money...but it does things an Ipod can't dream of ...If you are REALLY into music and are sick either the songs on your Ipod or commercials on the radio...You'll love sirius and the S50

Ok I'm a big Howard Stern fan so I had to get the S-50. Let me start by saying the most important thing, for those people who are complaining about not getting the home kit, I have a brilliant suggestion: GO BUY A 5-VOLT AC ADAPTER. That's all you need. I too was pissed when I found out that the home dock wasn't even available, and I am planning on only listening to it at home, but then I realized all you need to do is go buy an adapter and you can plug the "car kit" in at home too. Genius, huh? Anyways, on to the review of the radio...

UPDATE: I forgot to include that with the car kit, you will not only need a 5-volt adapter, but you will need something thick and VERY metallic, like a cookie sheet or a pie tray to attach the "car magnet". This is a rather crude but cheap way to replace the total lack of supply of the home docks.

So far so good. Sucks that you can't adjust bass/treble, but the fact that this thing is not only a satellite radio, but also an .MP3 player makes up for this drawback. You can record any song or program you want. Another awesome feature. I, like everyone else, was disappointed when I found out it's not really "portable" with live content, only with the stuff you have recorded onto it. The good, the bad.. and the ugly. The ugly part being that the Sirius software on the computer is buggy as hell. I put some .mp3s on it, and before I know it, the software bugs out and won't run. I had to uninstall it, and re-install it many many times. I'm not the only one who has had this problem either, so I recommend that you put the .mp3s on there that you really want for a long time to avoid this hassle. All complaints aside though, this is a great piece of technology and the pros outweigh the cons. Lots of people are pissed, but most of them are using it in their cars, and since I'm not driving with it, I don't have a problem.

In short, the fact that I can play .mp3s on the same device that I can listen to Howard Stern and Eminem's satellite channels on makes this a wonderful Christmas present and I'm pretty happy with it. But if you have a car, you might want to think about getting a different Sirius radio, one that's a little more reliable through speed bumps, weather, and lots of engine restarts. From what I've read it flakes out a lot in the car, and if you're just using it to drive, why not play your songs on your regular CD player and buy a cheaper Sirius radio just for the satellite?

Motorola MOTOROKR EQ5 Bluetooth Portable Speaker

Motorola MOTOROKR EQ5 Bluetooth Portable SpeakerUPDATE: This review was based on my purchase price of $29. It's value decreased considerably if the price is much higher.

This has about the same footprint as my iPhone. It's about a fraction of it's weight. Build quality is excellent. The speaker contains a rechargeable battery and there is a clear indication of when it needs to be charged and when the charging has been completed. More on the charger and that "clear indication" in a bit.

Pairing with my iPhone was immediate right out of the box. I turned on the speaker, went to the bluetooth discover screen on my phone, it picked up the unpaired device, I entered the super-secret code number (0000), and it was done.

Sound quality is good (for this type of speaker). The sound is clear, there is very little (but at least some) bass, and it doesn't sound tinny. I bought it for playing background music on the deck and it's certainly clear enough and there's definitely enough volume for that.

The description implied and it should be clearly stated that in addition to working as a speaker this also works as a speaker phone and can also pass voice commands to the phone. In fact it works just like the Motorola S9 headset except that forward and reverse don't seem to work with my iPhone4 (and it's much more difficult to wear as a headset).

The AC charger is universal (at one end); it accepts 100-240V at 50/60 Hz.

Now for the minor issues:

There's a very bright and annoying light that insists on flashing when music is playing. According to the (well written) manual it means there's either a call or music on standby. Near as I can tell there isn't. This can be easily "fixed" with electrical or duct tape. :)

If you want to charge the speaker from your laptop or USB charger you need to supply your own mini-USB (laptop/charger end) to micro-USB (speaker end) cable.

Minor annoyances aside, this speaker is a good value. You can share music from your mobile device at good volume and reasonable fidelity while keeping said mobile device on your person. I haven't tried the wired connection and frankly if I was looking for that kind of speaker I'm sure there are plenty available that would cost less while providing the same sound quality.

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

After purchasing a more expensive product from Best Buy and having to return it because it did not work, I found this on line at another web site. I was very tempted to buy it, but checked out Amazon's price and the SAME PRODUCT was $60.00 less on Amazon. That sealed the deal. It works great with the Droid (on which we have stored lectures and music). Great sound and since it's used only in the car, it does not matter how far apart the speakers can be from the phone. Wish it had come with a way to attach to the visor, but otherwise it's perfect! (Especially because of the price!)

Buy Motorola MOTOROKR EQ5 Bluetooth Portable Speaker Now

This has to be one of the best impulse buys that I have made.

I was looking for a Bluetooth stereo headset to go jogging with at the time, and saw this and thought that might be neat.

The one thing that surprised me was how small it was, its around the size of a modern touch screen smart phone, although about twice as thick.

The sound quality is around what you would expect from something this size, it will not set the world on fire, but it is far superior to the phone and the PC that I normally have it connected to. Setup was easy and the unit connects to the smartphone within seconds of turning on.

As well as the phone I have it paired with my laptop, so I don't leave the sounds in the living room when I nip upstairs. If your considering buying separate speakers for your laptop, this is something to consider as well as wired speakers.

The only downside is occasionally around the house the connection drops, but it reconnects as soon as the signal is good enough.

A few quick points:

Better speakers than most smart phones, without additional wires.

Adds portability to your music from your laptop, without carting the laptop around, or leave the phone on charge whilst you walk round the house.

Controls on the unit, to pause, skip both forward and backwards, volume controls (these control the volume on the EQ5 not the unit its connected to).

Control to make/receive calls (becomes a speaker phone), if you don't want speaker, flick the switch and the call drops to your handset.

Can use as a speaker phone with Skype.

Maintains the connection, with a few dropouts round a three bedroom home.

I would say that these complement a smart phone & laptop extremely well, and the price is around the same as a reasonable set of PC speakers.

I have had the EQ5 for a little over a month.

I use this mostly with my Android Nexus One phone.

Pros: Compact, rechargeable battery, easy to

setup and use, performs well. I have also

paired it with my Dell D420 laptop. (It took some

effort to get A2DP working in Windows-7). Very

reasonable price.

Cons: The only con is the lack of base. (Although it

does a great job considering it's size).

I gave it 5 stars because it does a great job for

my needs, for a speaker system to play NPR and other

streaming audio, from my phone and my laptop, when

I travel. I almost never use it at home.

I bought this little gem to listen to my iPhone/iPod in the car. Traffic noise makes the iPhone/iPod speakers hard to hear. I tried those FM transmitter gadgets that play through the car's FM radio, but they don't work so well in large cities where every clear FM channel is taken. This EQ5 speaker solved the problem. It is small, the same size as my iPhone, so it fits in my pocket or any place in the car dashboard, right front seat, or any other place I want to put it. The sound is clear and as loud as you want to make it. I'm not big on music, but I listened to a few songs and they seemed just as good as any FM radio. I also use it when watching Netflix movies on my iPhone or iPad to boost the sound. This is quite a nice little gadget.

Exide XMC-31 MEGACYCLE AGM-200 Sealed Maintenance Free (AGM) Marine Battery

Exide XMC-31 MEGACYCLE AGM-200 Sealed Maintenance Free Marine BatteryThe Exide has a 24 month free replacement warranty which is unique for deep cycle batteries. This is a hybrid which can also be used for starting and would be a good choice for a battery for a boat. I bought it for a RV as it provided good power for the space and it has the 2-year warranty.

Be aware that the true deep cycle Exide Nautilus Gold NG-31 battery has a 15% greater amp hour rating and sells on average for $160. Getting a battery for $50 less that provides 15% more power is what I will be doing when these die.

People have complained about the battery being shipped all the way from California to them and its not being properly packaged and receiving it damaged as a result. My experience was a little different. I live in California and the battery was shipped across the country from Pennsylvania. The carton was designed for shipping the battery and provided 1" of protection on all sides.

The battery was produced in May and arrived with 85-90% charge so I put it on a charger to get it to 100% charge level.

It does have both the standard battery posts and 1/4" studs for copper terminals depending upon what is already in place.

-

I ordered a second battery as I wanted both the ones for my camper to be identical. Second one arrived in a few days and was in perfect condition and of recent manufacture. No idea what the problems were in the past or their causes but at this point in time Amazon has the process under control for this product at least.

It should be understood that like most "marine" batteries it is not a true "deep-cycle" battery and should not be discharged more than 50% on a regular basis. It safely provides 50 AH for a trolling motor and not the 100 AH as one might expect. Deeper discharges will greatly shorten the life of the battery. At least for trolling this still provides about 10 hours of operating power for the average 50 lb. thrust motor.

Flooded acid deep-cycle batteries are not as shock resistant and have to be kept away from sparks and flames and they need to be kept upright and periodically topped off with distilled water. The other drawback to a flooded type battery (which people experience with their car's starter battery) is that they are affected more by low temperatures and lose more of power at temperatures below 40 degrees F.

I felt it necessary to chime in on this purchase as I researched to exhaustion for the right battery for my tent trailer. Per the specs I found this to be the bull I needed for worry free reliable energy, at the best price. My battery was dated as another reviewer mentioned, but was at %80 with no sulfication. In all my research in this there is a simple truth about batteries. Heavy is good. Heavy means high lead content, and this guy weighs 80 pounds. I use battery tender on it when in storage, and run a schumacher speed charger from the generator when needed. I get days out of it, and charges right back up. Great buy with free shipping! I take off one star for the date being old, but with an AGM of this caliber not too worried.

Looked around internet and locally for GEL type batteries for my 2001 Carver 406 motor yacht and the best deal was on Amazon. The batteries I selected have comparable specs to the very expensive batteries and have better specs than most in this group 31 size range. The delivery time from Amazon was very acceptable and arrived in very sturdy shipping packaging.

I hope to get at least 5-8 years of service but time will tell.

These shipped out of PA to my location on the west coast via UPS Ground so it took over a week for delivery. I actually bought these for a battery backup system so I like the fact they are sealed but I bought a Moeller 042214 battery box to put them anyways just in case they leak (which was a perfect fit). The fact that they come with dual battery terminals (the main car battery size posts but also smaller threaded posts are what I was interested in). The other bonus is they have a low profile nylon carrying strap built into the top of the battery. What I didn't really like was that I ordered these in June 2012 and the manufacture date was March 2011 so they are old for being sold as new. I immediately hooked them up to a Deltran battery tender to get them up to full charge.

I bought this battery for my back up sump pump (Wayne ESP25). I was concerned with previous reviews of old stock. I ordered it early February 2013. The shipped battery was a fresh stock from January 2013. It came charged and works great with the sump pump. Amazon shipping was great and received it as promised by them

RoadPro RP-2090 12V Super Loud Alarm Clock

RoadPro RP-2090 12V Super Loud Alarm ClockThe unit will run on the included 9 volt battery. BUT the unit sent will sound when you hit the "light/snooze" button. This means you CANNOT pack it in a duffle or suitcase as anything touching that bar causes it go off. The "alarm" also chirps every time you hit the HR or MIN button to set the time or alarm which is aggravating. And it does all this even if the alarm is set to off. A minor problem for a truck driver perhaps but a deal breaker for this reviewer who needs to pack it in luggage. It is neat that the clock works on either 12 volts or the included 9 volt battery; but the mentioned design "feature" will mean you need to pull the battery out before packing. AND if you don't want alarm to sound when you hit snooze or when you set the time or alarm, pass this clock by.

This is the loudest, most obnoxious alarm I've ever heard but it does the job! My teenager now gets up!!!!

We needed a loud alarm clock for our recent trip to Europe. With so many train and plane schedules, we were afraid to rely on the hotel's wake-service. The RoadPro Super Loud Alarm Clock worked very well. It was reliable and loud enough to wake anyone. It is necessary to remove the battery when in the suitcase as it will sound the alarm when the buttons touched.

I like it and like the sound however I don't know when it will work. When it does work the sound goes off a few times and quits. It is not continous. I still need a good alarm clock.

Road Pro stuff is generally pretty good, but this is a winner because it is INEXPENSIVE and VERY LOUD! Remember to take out the 9 volt battery when traveling, and change the 9 volt battery on a regular basis (to maintain clock accuracy) and you will have a good product that will last. I plan on buying another!

Peak PKC0CV 4/10/20/40 Amp Intelligent Battery Charger

Peak PKC0CV 4/10/20/40 Amp Intelligent Battery ChargerI love this charger. Perfect for my RV having 2 parallel deep discharge batteries. Charging with my on-board gas generator seriously speeds up the charge at the 40 amp rate. While paying $4 for gas I don't want to run the generator unnecessarily with a charger having a slower charge rate.

It works as promised. But the manual is not too clear about how it works. There is no transformer. It's a High Frequency switching power supply and charges by both constant current and constant voltage only near the end. Near the end of charge the microprocessor switches back to constant voltage to top off the battery at a much slower rate.

I set the mode at 40 amps and if the batteries are deeply discharged, it stays steady as a rock at the 40 amps, up until it approaches 90% of the full capacity. Then you can see the charge rate taper off as it slows down the charge until it's full.

I spoke to customer service about the 90 day warranty. They just didn't get around to updating the warranty period to a year. But they have not denied a free exchange to anyone, no matter how long they had it. Of course they want to reserve the right to deny a free exchange if it was abused. IMHO for the money, it's the best in value, rating the performance vs cost.

I would like to buy this but just noticed that the warranty is only 90Days!!! That's it???? Only 90days!!! They must not think much of their product!! Even unreliable Vector VEC 1095 offers 5 Years, last time I checked (I had 6 of those).

Charger will be free from defects in material and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date

of sale to the original purchaser"

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2005 Acura MDX - Memory #1 With Do-It-Yourself Programming

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2005 Acura MDX - Memory #1 With Do-It-Yourself ProgrammingI was VERY pleased with the remote I ordered. The entire process was so quick and easy. I received my remote with instructions in about 3 days. The remote was in perfect shape and the instructions were simple and easy to understand. The packaging was nice and I liked the toll free assistance line that I could use if I had problems with the programming. This was most certainly a positive experience and I could not be more satisfied. :)

Works great on our 2005 Acura MDX Touring with memory seats, just like the original.

Phenomenal price and quality on the product, for a fraction of what the dealership charges.

Go Power! GP-SWR-B-24 Inverter Remote for the 24V GP-SW1000, 2000 & 3000

Go Power! GP-SWR-B-24 Inverter Remote for the 24V GP-SW1000, 2000 & 3000This remote works very easily with the Go Power! inverter (I bought the 3000W pure sine wave model). The setup is extremly easy, just plug one end of the supplied communications cable into the remote and the other end into the inverter, and it works. The communications cable is a standard 4-wire phone wire (like you have for a wired phone in your house), easily replaced if it gets lost or damaged. The readouts are bright and easy to see, even in direct sunlight, and they give a lot of info at a glance. Well worth the money!
