I bought this item against my better senses inspite of then poor reviews. The product came on time but it broke within 2 days. The hub which connects to the gps breaks exposing the wires and rendering it useless. They sent me a replacement which broke similarly within a week. It is a piece of junk and not worth a cent. Please stay away from this one and choose another possibly the original garmin accessory.

It works. However, it almost looks like a cell phone charger repurposed as a GPS charger. End result is that if you have a decent sized vehicle, the cord may be a little short when the GPS is mounted on the windshield.

It may charge the GPS but it doesn't work like I expected it to. It only charges. You can't use your GPS and charge it at the same time. I ended up buying a replacement cord from Garmin. The vendor should make it clear that this cord is for charging only!

I'm really sorry I wasted my time getting this product. It wasn't worth the shiping charges to return it.

When I plug in the charger, the Garmin thinks it is charging on a computer and will not pull up the maps or navigate.
