I'm not sure if it works with other types, but it will NOT charge my iPhone 3g or nano AT ALL!

because of the low price I was afraid that this might not work. I was wrong. It works great. While I got it primarily to charge my iPod while driving across country, using the cigar adapter, I've also used the A/C adapter for a regular charge when I traveled without a computer. I highly suggest that you get one of these, great for when you're away from your computer.

The wall charger is flimsy,and falls out of the socket a lot. The car charger doesn't even work. I just needed a cheap wall charger and that's what I got.

It feels cheap. My Ipad warns it is not being charged.This is scary with a new purchase.
But, keep at it. The Ipad is not being truthful.
