I used this clock in my car, but when inside of the car gets hot, the clock resets the time and won't respond to button pushes until you remove the batteries. If you plan to use it inside in a cool or normal environment, it should be fine. The numbers are big and easy to see, it's just not suited for automobile use.

Didn't have a clock in the car, so removed the ash tray and set this in the space. This is the exact right size and right price, pretty accurate and works in the coldest winter days and hottest summer days.

This is an easy to read clock in the daylight. It has large numbers and can be viewed easily from 45 deg with no noticeable fade of the numerals. The light is however useless at night. It only works when pressed (finger must be pushing the blue button on the right of the display for the lamp to illuminate). The lamp is an amber color and washes out the display so that while driving one must purposely stare at the clock in order to determine the time. I wish it was able to be powered from the vehicle's battery and dash lighting to elevate having to press the button to use the light in order to save the two small watch batteries used to power it. It works and so far is the best clock option I have found so far, but if a better option comes to market this thing is gone.

Update: Found a clock on E-bay that is LED powered from the cars electrical system. It only displays in 24 hour time and no date (this is better, the date is useless in a car) I like it a lot better it is bezel mounted and looks like it could have been a factory option. Gave the Amazon clock to my son so he has a clock in his game room.

i purchased this clock for my car and i could not be more pleased. i was concerned it would not work in the cold but every morning when i get in my car, the clock is working perfectly. Also the backlight is very good when driving at night.
