At first when my Optima yellow top battery died (only after 2 1/2 years I had bought it)I needed to buy a new one, I was not sure if the Kinetic battery would fit my needs, but after reading reviews I decided to buy it. I currently have four amps hooked up in my truck along with 3 capacitors. Before I had a Kinetic battery my battery gauge would always be at about 9 volts and my lights would dimm heavily. I saw the difference right as soon as I hooked up my new Kinetic battery. My battery gauge never goes down as it did, my lights barely dimm, and there was even an increase in my bass. I would recommend this battery to anyone!

Great battery. Came double boxed with airbags in original Kinetik box. No signs of damage at all. Works flawlessly. Did need a slight charge, only sat at 13.6, but was installed within hours. Best backup battery you could ask for. Easily tops a deka 93A1 or Optima Yellowtop D31.

EDIT:Just recently purchased a second one of these from the same source and received the same horribly packed product as mentioned in other reviews. The battery looks to have been a return and just repacked and sold. It came in a tattered, waterlogged, destroyed Kinetik box with NO TERMINALS and an open manual and warranty slip. The handle on one side was also broken so lifting it was a pain. I guess it's just random what you're going to end up with so keep that in mind.

I received this item damaged (handle was broken), and the packaging was horrible. it came in the factory box! there was no re-packaging w/ packing peanuts or anything. It also was missing the post terminals, manual, and warranty information sheet. Did I mention this happened to me TWICE? I sent back the first one, and the exact same thing came the 2nd time. Very disappointed. Amazon did send me some new terminals, but they ended up not fitting. thank goodness, Kinetik sent me some new terminals that did fit, as well as some stickers. Kinetik is a great company, but I question what's going on here with these batteries on Amazon..

Put this in my AMG, replaced the pos stock. For some reason my car seems to be getting better gas mileage, lights dont dim when the bass hits, and feels like the car is more responsive.... very strange.
