Purchased this at Sams Club for $49.99, same exact model.Anyways I cannot say how it works hooked up to a computer but I am using it for my Cable Internet Box, my Voip Adapter, also my Router and my Base Station on my cordless phone system. Most of you know now that if you have voip and also a cordless phone system if the power goes out so does your internet, router, voip, and so on. In a day where everyone has cell phones why would I need this, well I also have an alarm system and if I needed medical / fire / or police hopefully it would call out before the battery died. Recently I got to see it in action, a wind storm came through trees down, power lines down and no power. I cannot say exactly how long power was out for, but it was close to 1-1/2 hours and everything still had power I even was on my laptop for a little bit using wireless internet.
For my use I am very pleased with this unit.

The APC brand is highly respected and was recommended before both purchases by qualified IT and Computer experts.Delivery was quick and the company very efficient. The size fits perfectly for me and I like the self check that is automatically done via computer program. I highly recommend this product!Pretty poor product as it failed within a month. No warranty so I only have myself to blame. But caveat emptor !!
