This is great for what we got it for -as a portable jump unit for our hybrid cars, lawn mower, and portable generator. It also has a handy work light that ought to run for a gazillion hours on a single charge.

Jumping a hybrid car like a Prius is an easy thing you just need to power the computer and any accessories, long enough for the main inverters to engage and start charging the 12V system from the traction battery. This product works great for that, and even jumpstarts our two-cylinder John Deere lawn tractor just fine. On the other hand, it couldn't even come close to jumpstarting a Toyota Tundra with the V6 engine even in nice warm weather with a fresh charge. That's not surprising -car batteries are large wet-cell batteries that have nifty tricks like foamed led plates to generate more current. This is a little sealed lead-acid gel cell.

350 amps is a joke. Maybe if you shorted it out you might get 350 amps to flow for a few milliseconds.

But if you ignore the fake-o amperage rating and use it for what it can do -mild jumpstarting for small engines and for hybrid cars -then it is a very handy device to have.

The description says these units are new,the boxes they came in were ripped open and then taped back together with scotch tape ,lots of scotch tape.The units themselves did charge and do work but you certainly would not want to give them as gifts which was my original intention.Now they will be flea market items this weekend.
