Purchase this as an experiment for a possible replacement to a very expensive Govt purchased jump starter. So far everyone seeme to be impressed. Can buy 8 of these for the cost of 1 bi-annual rebuild of the one we've been using. Easily starts "dead" heavy diesel powered equipment & large trucks.
We got this charger while in IRAQ from another unit that was leaving and we have had it for 5 years so I have no idea how old it is. It still works like new and will start anything from a HMMWV to a HEMTT. We use it on a weekly basis to test trailer lights and start vehicles that have been sitting for long periods. If you have 24 volt systems then this is an excellent source of backup power and alot easier to use and lighter than jumper cables.
