Does what it's suppoed to do, be sure you have an area in the firewall that's easily accessible though as drilling a 3/4" hole requires some effort with a unibit and a drill. I have it installed on a 2002 Nissan Frontier. Although it's plastic, it feels like you get a durable part with a tight grip around the 4 gauge power cable. There is a rubber grommet that fits inside the flange so make sure that is centered correctly before tightening it down for the correct watertight fit.

Forget trying to fish the wire through an existing grommet, with this little guy all you have to do is find a spot, drill and install. Seals nice, provided you get the right size for the wire being run. Definitely a must have to perfect a smooth and water tight install.

This says it is for 4 gauge wire, but it is too big. I wouldn't want to have that big of a gep open in my firewall to allow exhaust gasses into my truck. I didn't use it.

Although these are rated for 4awg wire, they appeared too tight when tested. I understand that they need to be somewhat tight to prevent air/water from passing through, but not to the point when stripping off the protective coating becomes an issue/concern
