SOLAR ESA30 OBD II Memory Saver Connector

Not really sure if this connector works when plugged in to external power/another car or battery. I tried this on my Nissan Altima and blew the OBD2 fuse right after I supplied power from another car. This might work with some other make or model car but have not tried it after that incident.

If you need something to use here and there that you're not going to heavily rely on this is a great deal. On the other hand if you go out of town every other week and think this product will last years and be 100% reliable.... I'd go spend the extra few dollars on a higher end product.
