The key looks just like the factory original. It was very easy to program. It did not come with directions, but it came with a phone number to the company's support service. They were very quick to e-mail me directions. As far as programming, it took no more than a minute. I have been using it for about a week now and have had no problems whatsoever. Saved me lots of money the dealer wanted $140 for the key and $20 to program.

This would certainly appear to be the original factory remote. It has the proper numbers on the back, and looks just like the factory original. It programmed up just like it should have (which is so easy to do on these trucks), and works perfectly. Don't be lied to. These are the exact same key-less fobs that you can get at the dealer at a fraction of the price. I ordered mine and it arrived very quickly. I used the three steps it takes to program it to my 2008 Tahoe and whoola! I now have a second key-less entry FOB. Many websites and mechanics will lead you to believe this is a dealer part since the "Dealer" has to program it. This is NOT TRUE.
