iPowerPro 150 Watt Universal Dual Voltage Auto / Airplane Adapter / Inverter

iPowerPro 150 Watt Universal Dual Voltage Auto / Airplane Adapter / InverterDon't waste your money. The company website is not online as of today, 3/29/2011. There is no contact number in the User Instruction Manual only the website on the box. FYI = Made in China, imagine that!!!!!! Did have an email address sending note now but just wanted to forwarn...

Update, EMAIL SENT WAS NOT DELIVERABLE TO INDICATED EMAIL ON COMPANY PRODUCT BOX. GUESS I CAN WRITE THAT $33.00 OFF.

The kids wanted to be able to play wii in the car and this worked great. I gave it to my son in the Air Force to use while he was traveling by air, so he could use his lap top without losing power. Great price, I'm ordering another one to replace the one I gave away

this small adapter allows you to charge anything away from home. It plugs into the cigarette lighter socket (should we call these power sockets by now?) and then you can plug your device into either a USB port OR a regular plug socket just like at home.

it's case is included and it is small enough to easily fit into your glove compartentment (does anyone put gloves there?) without taking up all the room. This is such a useful tool to have that I bought one for each of our cars and each of my children's cars.

The inverter has done a perfect job. I wish it was a little smaller but it is a good size for the power it can deliver.

Well, I will give it one star because I have to and one more because it worked great for a week then started to get loider. I bought it off Woot for $8 + shipping and could not get them to replace it. I guess it has a manufacturer Warranty but have not tried that yet. The problem it that it made a rattling noise and sounds as if something is stuck in it. Then it starts to smell as if it is about to catch on fire. Great, that is the last thing I needmy truck to burn down. I will not use it if I am not with it.

Other downsides. The charging port is on the same side as the power cord that you plug in. This is awkward. You can only charge one at a time or it gets loud. Never tried it on an airplane but I guess that would be one place that the amount of noise it makes would not matter. Mine did not come with it's little cary case as it was supposed to.
