Installed on 2012 Duramax LTZ. I have a built in platform that goes across the backseat floor area. This is where I installed unit. Would recommend that you use nothing smaller than a #3 wire with an inline fuse in the 80 to 100 amp range. You can get those type at the WalMart car stereo area. I use it to power large box fans, charge 36 volt batteries, dremel, jig saws. Won't power circular saw though. Couldn't have a truck without it!
I bought this because I show dogs and needed some source of power for blow drying my dogs and sometimes for these outside shows you need to have a generator or motorhome... I really didnt want to haul a noisy generator around and we dont have a motorhome or RV. I saw this on amazon and thought it was worth a try and thought it was neat that it just runs off your car battery. It worked great the first time I used it I could use my heavy duty Kool Dryer to dry my dogs and other things such as hair dryer. I learned this was worth the money and glad i got it and tried it out. Highly recommend. A lot of people at the shows thought it was pretty cool and such a neat idea! :) Great service from the seller too. Came in great condition and as described!

I didn't expect it to run as well as it does. i reccomend it for like a small tv, blender, accesorries, etc.
