I use this siphon pump on the farm to transfer diesel to my tractor. You should take out
the 2 D batteries when not in use. I'm a 70 yr old lady and have to lift 5 gals. of fuel
almost over my head to fill my John Deere.This makes it so much easier.
The last one I had lasted about 12 yrs. even tho' it's plastic.Works good for taking the gas from lawn mowers and snow blowers at end of the season. I added an extension to it so I can take gas from my car to re-fill my gas cans, this saves me a trip to the gas station to do it.Product was delivered very quickly and works well. It is a little underpowered for siphoning liquid in a tank 3 feet down. The pump works great for emptying gas from mowers.I only have used this pump once to get the gas out of my snow blower for the summer, but it worked great and very fast.
