I added a cigarette lighter (wired direct to battery) in my motorcycle sadlebag for my phone charger, this allows me to just plug in without having to remove the seat or add another wire to my battery post(another opportunity to short!) I want to point out, if your looking for one of those pigtails that is the more universal (battery tender style) plug, this is not it. I have the NOCO, I don't know if it works with anything else, but it does not use the standard 2 wire trailer plug that many others use.

This product will not work on my Lexus. It does on my 1998 BMW Z3. I think it is because the lighter plug on the Lexus will not work without the key turned on. It does work without the key in my BMW.
