I called ALL the local stores and not a single one had this exact battery in stock nor was I willing to settle for a "direct replacement" made by companies I never heard of before for $20-40 than the recommended battery. Why pay more for what may turn out to be a cheap knock off or not meet the requirements? Jump starting a bike is a lot more hassle than a car.
Keep in mind that this battery comes with the acid in a separate container that you need to pour into the battery itself. I was a little hesitant about this at first, but it's absurdly simple. You turn the container upside down, push it into the battery which pierces the container and allows the acid to pour into the battery.
Yes you do need to charge it afterwards, but if you have a motorcycle, you probably already have the required charger so it's not a big deal.
Finally, the added bonus of the battery being shipped separately from the acid means that until you add the acid, it's not decaying. Precharged batteries begin to decay the second the acid is added. You can order this battery today and store it as a backup as long as you like.
So this battery ships the acid separately from the battery and you need to fill it before use, this is actually a really good thing since the battery won't be sitting on the shelf degrading. This video just shows that simple process. I should have been wearing some type of safety glasses and gloves... I just wanted to show people how simple they made this.
This battery is replacing the stock battery (exact same model) that I had in my bike which lasted 8+ years...

I just received this replacement battery, and I was quite amazed at the way Yuasa is packaging them. Even though I am a hands-on type, I have not replaced a motorcycle battery myself in quite some years. What a difference! Remove the protective strip over the cell fill-holes, place the pre-measured acid bottles over the fill holes, push down and let it fill up the battery. No spills, no measuring. I will next charge it up with my Battery Tender, and it will be ready to pop in tomorrow.Read Best Reviews of Yuasa YUAM3RH2S YTX12-BS Battery Here
I purchased this battery to replace the factory battery in my 2003 Suzuki GSXR 1000. That battery lasted me 8 years since I always left it on my Battery Tender Jr. and I'm assuming this battery will last me just as long due to it being a Yuasa. This battery was shipped very, very quickly with very professional packaging. Would definitely buy from again. Price for a Yuasa battery was great also.I was a bit nervous ordering a battery online, but this Yuasa was delivered in great shape and with clear instructions. The acid was added easily. The battery perfectly fit my 2005 Suzuki M50 Boulevard. The battery charged quickly using a small CTEK trickle charger. The price is great. The bike kicks over every time. Sure beats getting ripped off at the dealers.
