I ordered this alarm system and having been a professional auto technician, found that the instructions were not always on target with regard to wiring it up. Even after contacting the factory technicians, I was sent by email a vehicle specific diagram which didn't quite coincide with wiring colors and connections. Getting return calls was slow and then some of the spoken instructions given incorrect. Following them has made the remote start of the system non-operational and further calls went un-returned as did the email sent.
This product is very good for the price, but it also depends on what kind of vehicle you have as well. Like I said before it depends on your car, because my remote start sometimes start and sometimes it doesn't. I would still recommend it to someone.

I was very skeptical about buying this unit after reading the past reviews. This unit does need professional install I had mine done for me it did take some time due to not real good instructions. But its in and works awesome remote start works at over 1/2 mile range very impressed with that feature. Starts from the back of our Walmart through walls and wiring this is a great unit
