I rated this blanket a 5 because it does the job that it says it will . I traveled in some of the northern states with snow and ice and saw it in use by locals . I believe it is more beneficial for diesel vehicles such as the one I own as a diesel engine requires more starting power than a gasoline engine. Depending on your battery space, these blankets are easy to install. I would recommend a velcro or double sided stick tape used in conjunction with the twist ties furnished.
