This is a great item to add if you have a Multi Mount winch from Warn. If any of your friends or colleagues or anyone else runs out of power on their car you now don't have to open your hood to give them a jump. Just connect the cable to the Quick connect that you have for your winch and you have it. No more fiddeling with hood latches and no more risk of a short when connecting the jumper cables and other things in bad or good weather. Just plug it in and give the power they need. I have used it several times already and it is really great to not have to open the hood and great to also not having the risk of shorting out your own battery when trying to jump start other cars.
I have not used them in over two years, but when I do I'm sure they will work just fine. The cables look cheap and small to me but whatever they are just jumper cables. The reason I bought them was because they could be hooked from the back of the truck, but I don't help people out like before.
