I live in northern Minnesota and have a Pontiac Grand Am.

It's very hard to get an engine heater in this car.

I got the battery wrap and it was easy to install.

Due to lack of space I had to remove the battery cables and hold down bolt. I pull out the battery and wrapped it and used the long twist ties to keep it on. Put the battery back in and bolted it down and put the cables bake on. Ran the cord out the grill and plugged it in.

Two days later it was 14 below zero (that was at 8 PM.)

I went out and put a thermometer on top of the battery and the battery was at 60 degrees.

Car starts every morning because the battery has more power.

I live in Minnesota and unfortunately I have to keep one car outside in the winter time. As any mechanic knows batteries lose a percentage of charge when they get really cold and won't allow the car to start. I live in the northern part of the USA where it gets extremely cold. The battery warmer is used for a standby generator for our home. It has a duty cycle once a week and during this past December 2010 with temps the 2nd coldest on record the generator spun over with ease and started immediately. I have a older diesel pickup and can't get soft plug heater so I put a warmer on each battery and a katts 300 watt oilpan heater now it will start down to -15. At -15 the battery temp was 27.
