This is an amazing product, I had bought my new Galacy S3 on launch date also buying a cheaper phone cradle, What a waste of money that was, £10 wasted, it cracked with viabration from my cars supension!! HENSE my new purchase.This replacement is the ONLY CAR PHONE HOLDER YOU WILL EVER NEED. as it grips well even before you clamp it down. It sticks well to corser dash consoles and curves, which is a big ask from a device like this. Is as simple to use as a bull clip to use and as its design in the same manner it will open to grip almost all phones from old school small to supper big galaxy notes approx 5".

The holder has been well designed with good quality plastics and clean edges. the rubber that grips your phone on the inside is soft and grippy silicon and well not slip. The spring clamp on the phone is another great idea, as it dose not let go. NOT EVEN ON MY ZCAR MINI a track day car with race set up suppension. it will viabrate but nothing bad , its as smooth as silk in my family car. its been so good I have bought one for my track car as well so I do not neen to swap over any more. It holds my S3 securely(The clamps on this mount are strong) and I can angle it just how I want it.

Update 10/30/2012 I've had this mount for over a month now and it has never once fell off my dashboard. I tried to pull it up but it's stuck on there really good. My dashboard isn't smooth and it's not really bumpy, just kinda in between, but it's holding good. If you need a mount you can't go wrong with this one!

Excellent. It arrived very quickly, faster than several other items I had ordered a couple of weeks before and works exactly as advertised. It sticks to the side panel of my winshield, which is textured and never held anything before. Today I used it riding in the back seat and it held to the plastic part of the back of the driver's seat. Held for hours, no problem at all. Even better, hasn't left any marks.

The plastic could be of a thicker/higher quality, but if you're careful it shouldn't be a problem. Also, the clip design is great. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it holds things more securely than the old designs and is more universal, easily fitting different sizes. Works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy 4.2.
