The case looks just like the original. The literature and description states that it has to be programmed by a locksmith or dealer. The locksmith I went to charges $35 to program, much better price than the dealership. I can't comment on the fucntionality as I ended up returning it. The reason I returned it was because the locksmith was able to solder the battery holder on my original fob. You may want to check that out if that's why you're looking to get this. Kudos to the seller though as I usually only buy Amazon Prime items, but the seller was professional and accomadating in processing my return.
My husband says to send it back and get a replacement (which they are willing to do) but I hesitate to spend another $60.00 to have the new one programmed as this one could be a dud too.Great company that provided this product. It works great and I would order again from this supplier. My local Chevrolet dealer did not like the fact that I was able to purchase this product at this good price.Key less remote works great. Hooked up to our Grand Prix no problem. Sure beats fumbling with keys in the cold weather.Great product and fast shipping. My daughter loved it. She had dropped her keys so many times that it stop working. Now that its cold, she loves the automatic starter.
