Bought this for a particular application that I admit I didn't think through. I wanted to charge 2 12V deep cycle batteries from one Solar Regulator. This Item does not allow the MPPT regulator to sample battery voltage in order to know what state the battery is in, it is a ONE WAY CURRENT DEVICE. Thats my fault, I didnt research that before bought it and in retrospect, its obvious. there is a work around with 0.25amp fuses, and having done that, this isolator works perfectly. Would recommend it anyone with the added info that the charger must be an old school resistive charger (like a car alternator or one of those non-smart chargers you see in automotive yards).Short story: It Works Cant be used with smart chargers that need "feedback" from the battery, but it works.
