I believe the Dynon system is one of the best values on the market for experimental aircraft. I have a system in my plane and it's been absolutely rock solid. Add an autopilot and you really can't beat it.

Watch out for bargain basement pricing tactics though. If you purchase just the D700, you'll still need to purchase at MINIMUM the ADAHRS unit and probably the GPS unit too unless you want to get GPS data from your hand-held or your panel mount GPS. The ADAHRS should run you about $1000 and the GPS "puck" around $200.
