I needed an inverter for my dell studio laptop so I can work on a report while on a long driving trip with a group. The inverter got the job done, though I had to unplug it from the cigarette lighter when it got too hot. Not a big deal as my laptop had enough power to sustain with the charge at that point. By the time my laptop battery was low again, the inverter was cool enough to plug back in for charging. I was really pleased with the product as it did exactly what I expected.
