Small but perfect for my side by side. Would work well on a motorcycle. Instructions could be better. The orange wire has to be hooked up to a hot wire to turn unit on. I would buy it againRead Best Reviews of Pyle PLMPA35 2-Channel 300-Watt Mini Amplifier with 3.5mm Input Here
Pyle lies about the power specifications and Amazon won't correct it. This is a bridged amplifier driven off 12VDC power. Estimate: (14.4V battery 2V loss) / 4 Ohms = 38.4W peak. RMS is less than 1/2 peak, so 15W RMS is correct.Want Pyle PLMPA35 2-Channel 300-Watt Mini Amplifier with 3.5mm Input Discount?
I hooked this up to my motorcycle battery just like the diagrams provided shows and it blew its fuse. I thought that maybe the speakers I was using were too powerful for the amp, so I disconnected them from the amp, replaced the fuse with a new one, and hooked it up to the battery again. And again it blew the fuse. Since there wasn't anything else connected to it I am assuming this amp had a problem in side it somewhere. The unit did exactly what I expected. Cannot figure their math to come up with 300 watts though and yes I would like to know! Is it the new math or what?
