Well you get what you paid for. Received this item and I can't get it to turn on. I'll just eat the cost, $8 after shipping isn't worse the hassle trying to get a refund.

Does what it says on the box. Plug into iPad, plug into power, it finds the best station and you're off. No more struggling to hear the mingy little speakers on the iPad over the engine noise. I only have one power outlet though, so I can't charge the iPad at the same time it is powering transmitter, but there are plenty of cheap adaptors so that I can do both at the same time...if only I could remember to get one.

well I bought this little Transmitter weeks back and I was amazed that such a little thing like that actually works pretty dam good, so I tested it out and it goes a little ways a way, so if you have let's say an I-Pod or an MP3 or MP4 Player then you can hook this Device up to it and Play any song or even a Recording of yourself on any Radio station of your choice and yes you can even have it on a radio station someone else is listening to and you can make them hear what your listening to as well lol, so yes it is a fun little Device especially for you car if you don't have a CD Player in your car you set the station on the device then you set the station on your car stereo then it starts playing but for the best results put it on a lower station like in the 87.8 or 99.0 or what not, but yes I give then Product 5 stars don't listen to what the other morons had to say about it they don't know what they are talking about this Product works great and I am proof of that! though I was skeptical at first myself but when I bought it I was surprised well I hope you guys enjoyed my review take it easy.

I ordered this FM Transmitter because my boyfriend also has one. It works great with my droid because I can just plug it into the headphones jack! The only downside would be that sometimes there's static in the background of my music, but when I tweak the volumes between my phone and my car it works perfectly!

Worked for less than a week and then the LCD screen showed gibberish. Then began working again for a day. It's unreliable as to if it is even going to function. Poor signal pickup. There is frequent static. I would NOT suggest this device for use. I used with my SanDisk Sansa Fuze plus.
