This is a very good charger. As I am all the time in the road, I use this charger in my car but you can also use in a outlet in your home or hotels. That means that this chager replaces 2. They charge my Android phone very fast ans I use in my Samsung tablet too, simultaneally. Nothing more pratical. The construction quality is very good, and the charger is very reliable. I recommend !

Ok, this a power adapter the works from the wall socket or the car's cig lighter. The output is to a standard USB. If I plug this into the wall socket, connect it via USB cable to my Kindle, the power flows from the adapter to the Kindle, or whatever other device that I connect it to. The adapter's wall plug flips out for use, and folds back into the housing when not in use. The wall plug prongs fit into the wall socket just fine, and works just fine. I haven't used it in the car yet, but I expect it will work great there, too. It is very convenient to have both input sources in one unit. It's not exciting, it just works. What else is there to say?
