I've only used it once so far, so I'm not sure about long-term reliability...

But my previous inverter made such dirty power that my Mackie self-amplified speaker made a terrible buzzing noise all the time when run off of the inverter. I ran this one for over two hours no buzz at most-of-full 400 watt volume, and still had juice in my truck battery to start it and get home.
