Moeller Marine Battery Tray (One 24-Series Battery)

This is a very sturdy, well made battery tray. As "fishouttawater" noted in his (or her?) review, the knobs have serrated flanges to hold them in place. Also, the hex nuts at the bottom of the studs press into the bottom of the tray (snug but easy to press in by hand), holding them in place so they don't slip out while you're trying to install the tray; and they don't turn when you're tightening the knobs. Overall a well-thought-out design. Very installer friendly. And I was really happy when it fit my 1930 Chevy three-window coupe!!!

These are basic battery trays. I do not find them any better/worse than others on the market. One feature that is a plus are the knobs that hold down the top retaining ring. Easy to tighten/remove.

Great fitment, excellent materials, fair price. Some very smart features like the serrated flange in the plastic to keep the nuts from backing off. One of the few products I have given 5 stars.
