I bought this monitor to be used in the car. I tried some file extensions on it like mp4, flv, rmvb and they didn't work.

The extensions that work were mp3 and avi. I will try some other extensions and update my review.

Note that it needs a low quality videos as the screen is a low resolution.

the sound which comping from the speakers can be heared only if you closed your car window, but its good and clear.

The product didnt do anything the ad said it would do. It could have just been the one I was sent but it wouldnt play any movie file I gave it including those others have said they got it to work on feedback. I couldnt get it to work as a monitor with the included cables and I tried many different devices, some new some older. The only thing I could get it to do is play jpeg photos and they were very staticky and blurry. The seller gets an A+ for extremely fast shipping and customer service. It only took 24 hours to contact amazon and UPS to get to my doorstep to return the item.
